How many P5 teams with 28 freshmen are 5-3 at this point, or even at this point in recent years?
Out of the P5 wins, compare how many freshmen we started and subbed with vs the other teams. They were good wins.
Even though we have not scored after positive turnovers as much as one would expect to, each turnover still counts as changes in possession and are valued. Those turnover chains and other toys teams celebrate with on the sidelines are not for scores after turnovers. We lost the turnover battle decisively vs Utah and UCLA. Ball control had to have been high priority for the Utes and Bruins the weeks prior to playing us.
If we line up lower class men vs upper class men in any given week throughout most of this conference, our expectations should calibrate accordingly.
Hoping we can make this bye work for us vs USC.
