You are correct about Yellen's greater propensity for throwing a pick. JD only has had two all year and one was a hail mary which doesn't count in my book. But we must also temper that with the understanding that Yellen has had virtually no reps all season and had just a couple of days to prepare and develop timing and synergy with the 1st team. Daniels' amazing scrambling efficacy is also a valuable advantage that he enjoys. I like both QBs and hope Yellen sticks around because we'll probably need him given the number of JD's scrambles combined with his potential breakability . Yellen, if patient, will eventually become our top guy one way ot the other. I really like his quick release and decisiveness. He'll only get better with time.
This is a young team with very little depth. That and the miscues will change as time progresses. Somehow we do need to develop a pass rush next year without blitzing as often.
There were also a couple of very nice pass plays called back due to penalties. One was the trick play to the TE and another was to Darby early on. I think Likens called a pretty nice game yesterday.
