Agree. If Daniels is fit to play without endangering his knee, he is the better choice today. His game experience has slowed the game down for him and he is now more likely to call check-offs or look for safety valve dumps than the less experienced Yellen.
But if Daniels is instructed to curtail his scrabbling to protect the knee, the gap between Yellen and Daniels narrows. I think Yellen learned about the game speed of PAC DBs last week and might be less prone to make risky throws. And hopefully, ASU will not spot Oregon State 28 points to start the game to force ASU into a high risk passing offense.
Both QBs will be fun to watch in the coming years, especially if Edwards changes his OC. The starter might boil down to the one most compatible with the offense.
