While players get a pass for the heat of the moment type antics, I haven't seen anything quite like this since that NHL player (Marty McSorley - had to Google it) hit a guy in the head with his hockey stick from behind.
He's lucky he didn't obviously hurt the guy (like McSorley did), but he should probably serve a full 16 game suspension for it (the rest of this year and into the 2020 season).
This is the time where the No Fun League needs to be firm with their perception of player safety and enforcement. If people can be fined for tackling a QB too hard anymore, they'll have to swing a huge helmet... er, hammer... on this one.
And the Browns were up by 14, and it was the end of the game. What the hell was that, Mr. Garrett?
