Eno did take a beating this year. Donít look at his runs, look at him trudging off the field. Iím not saying that it will be worse next year, but it will not be any better. Why risk injury?
Think of the line on a group replacement basis. Do you really think that Frias, Lovell, Bell is an immediate upgrade from Losoya, Miller Cabral? And there is no experienced linemen like Hemsley to rest starters or fill in for injured players.
I am willing to bet that West is moved to center next year so that he does not have to add 40 lbs to play dive hole guard. Henderson will continue to grow. His doctor predicted that the kid will top out at about 6-5 +/- 320 lbs. Bell, Lovell and Frias all have the potential to fill positions (BTW, both Frias and Lovell are each listed on game programs at less than 310 lbs). But next year will not be this groupís best year. These young guys still need to develop technique and acclimate to game speed.
Eno has already demonstrated everything he can offer in his 650 career touches. Coming back behind a questionable inexperienced line can do more harm than good. If he does come back itís for his dedication to the team and not to improve his draft position. That would be commendable but maybe not a very good business decision.
