And if you exclude erickson yr 1 with koetters players DE was an abysmal 21-28 with 14-22 conf record while graham had a 31-23 conf record went 2-3 in asu bowls and de went 0-2 in bowls
How is this not a turnaround?
Bottom line: Graham won more games and bowls at asu and had 4 winning seasons of 6 and had a winning conference record compared to DE
His predecessor had one winning season of five (his 1st year here) and had a .500 record overall and a losing conference record overall
Graham arrived and cleaned up Dennis Erickson's mess.
My point of this thread is to have CTG's agent leverage the facts regarding CTG's ASU tenure to go make a bunch of money while attempting to turn around dumpster fires
Erickson lit a big dumpster fire here that went way beyond wins and losses....
I am NOT saying CTG is the answer. I like the guy and appreciate what he did here for the most part. I am happy with CHE elevating ASU to the next level..
But erickson did a lot of damage to asu football, was a horrible coach and mentor and Graham installed discipline and won more games overall than DE, had 4 winning seasons to DE's 1, took asu to five bowls vs DE's two bowl appearances and he won two bowls compared to DE's winless bowl record and graham had a winning conf record while DE had a losing one
So yeah when you do the math Graham turned ASU around from what DE had done here...Herm will elevate it to the next level
