I disagree on ASU heading south after losing to Texas Tech in the 2013 Holiday Bowl. The next season, ASU went 10-3, and beat Duke in the Sun Bowl. Now, if you want to say the program headed south after they beat Notre Dame 55-31 during the 2014 season, when they went to Oregon State and got upset by a bad OSU team, then I would agree with you.
Otherwise, we can agree to disagree on Todd Graham as a coach for ASU. I think he did a good job overall. I do think he would've been fired following the 2016 season, had he not been extended by Ray Anderson.
I will say one thing about the 2016 season, ASU was 5-1 and playing well, but had a rash of injuries, including losing 3 quarterbacks heading into the Oregon game (Bryce Perkins at Camp Tontonzona, Manny Wilkins, and Brady White). Dillon Sterling-Cole, who was supposed to red shirt in 2016, was forced to start the game at Oregon. ASU was missing 10 starters for that game due to injury, and they lost 2 more starters during the Oregon game. Not many college football teams can survive missing 12 starters. I know that's an excuse for the terrible 6 game losing streak to end the 2016 season, but ASU did have a lot of injuries. However, there is NO excuse for the performance that the team had in Tucson to end the season, when they let a bad U of A team run the ball right down their throats. Quite frankly, the defense looked like they quit on Coach Graham in the second half of that game. Go Sun Devils!
