Is totally overrated. And candidly, coaches that have been primarily NFL guys do NOT know how to get college kids there. They coach players that are drafted, not recruited and developed. They have a limited role in draft prep Yes, Rodriguez spent some time at UTEP, but that's hardly an NFL factory.

People also need to recognize how good Cain was in his time here. He did more than AP did in AP's first cycle. It's possible that Rodriguez is a better teacher than Cain (although Cain was considered to be pretty good in this regard), but the odds are really low that Rodriguez outperforms Cain on the recruiting front, at least in the short term.
