Liked it better than it's successor, After the Goldrush.

I discovered Dooley's on my visit to ASU, when I was deciding which away school I wanted to attend. I had a fake ID, and 19 was the drinking age in AZ. I had so much fun that night at Dooley's, and after w/a girl I met that night, it may have tipped the scales for me to attend ASU, forever changing my life for the better :-).

That said, once I got to ASU, have to say Banders was my favorite local dive, with Franks & The Dash not far behind.

I played in a number of sand vball tourneys at Banders, and usually made my way over there a couple of nights per week at some point. It was also a great spot for half time and after football games in SDS. RIP Banders.

Lunt & Willy & Gs were reverse happy hour spots Tuesday & Wednesday nights after night class.

Banders, Dash, & Franks were any night hang outs. Places like Dooley's & later Devil House seemed like more weekend spots.

The fist fun place I recall on Mill was Donny O'Brians, long gone now, though Rula Bula is a classic Irish pub down there now.

Great memories at all of them.
