We had 17,763 cases of covid in May with 857 deaths.
We had 52,390 cases of covid in June with 1339 deaths.
We now have 131,354 cases of covid as of 15 July with 2434 deaths.
Now I'm no math genus but does that curve look like it's gotten flatter to you?
On March 26, AZDHS reported that 38% of ICU beds were available for both COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 cases. By July 2, only 9% of ICU beds had been available in Maricopa County. Once again, things are trending in the wrong direction.
So you can continue to argue all you want because this doesn't fit your world view...and that's cool...it's your right...but you cannot argue with the numbers. Covid really doesn't give a crap about your opinion...it simply continues to spread.
All these numbers come from the Arizona Department of Health Services...you know...the guys that work for the governor.
