Is that limited to only the threat of death? Because there are lots and lots of dangerous effects from this illness, even if the person doesn't die.
Mortality rate is low in younger populations, but they are still at risk of long term repercussions.
Low rates or not, it is a statistical certainty that some will get ill and die, and it is, in fact, possible to control the spread. We should therefore do what we can. (The virus itself was wrecking the economy and will continue to wreck the economy as long as infection numbers are where they are).
