St. Louis Cardinals have members who tested positive. Rightly so, more games postponed. Each major league team has 25 to 30 players and then add staff plus other officials, there could be as many as 50+ people involved. Traveling from city to city, cities like Miami, Los Angeles, Houston and Phoenix, is a major risk. Fifty or more people traveling on airlines that in some cases don't require masks is wrong.
The reason I bring this up,...think about a professional or college football team with possibly 100 players, coaches and staff involved.
Football and baseball are not in bubbles. The NBA has done it right. Football and baseball players and coaches will/are going home and coming back to the park. They are high potential risks of being carries going both ways.
Football will be the most difficult. There will be 22 players on the field tackling, pushing and hitting each other. There will be pile ups of 2 or more players. It just does not seem safe for the players.
There is the argument that young people can handle the virus. Studies have shown there are after effects that could be with them for life. Is the risk too great?
I, like all of you, want to see Sun Devil football, but at what cost. With the Coronavirus now at its worst in the United States things are not looking good for a season of football.
