So if we're expanding the risk beyond the individual players (which, I hope we can acknowledge is relatively low for these young, healthy athletes) then we have to consider the alternatives.
So if a player decides to play, he's on campus, practicing with his football buddies, and taking classes (mostly online, if not hybrid).
If he doesn't play, he's either on campus or at home. Spreading the disease with his friends on campus or his family at home.
Why is one worse or better than the alternative?
