NCAA standards vs California once again at odds

I believe that the NCAA still has minimum test score requirements to qualify for athletic scholarships. I wonder what happens when California drops SAT and ACT tests as a requirement for admission. A recent story states that testing students as part of admission standards is discriminatory, and will be completed eliminated in the California University system by 2023.

"University admissions officials and faculty are best positioned to determine appropriate admissions decisions and procedures, taking into account the individual needs and priorities of a particular campus," UC said in Tuesday's statement. . . . UC said in Tuesday's statement that it "remains committed to enrolling a student body that reflects the broad diversity of cultural, racial, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds characteristic of California."

Will this be another recruiting advantage for the California schools? Ambiguous academic qualifications. Payments for rights to name, image and likeness. Can the PAC-12 survive the California progressive goals?
