unless those that died had different type COVID tests, its reasonable to assume that the stated death rate is overstated to some relative degree to the false-positive rate of the tests....that is to say if all tests performed were by this method (I'm assuming there not) and the failure rate was x% its reasonable to assume the death rate is misstated by same x%.
Tough times no doubt and the benefit of doubt is liberally provided to policy makers on these hard matters but to a point. It appears increasingly clear which school administrators are willing to lead, and those which wait to glean public opinion. I wonder if the second group may have blinked too soon....paranoia versus prudence? Hard to say without hindsight.
