If the PAC committee wants to protect Oregon, I doubt that they will want the Ducks to have to play ASU. Nobody knows for sure how good ASU will be this year. But with a bright, talented QB and a ton of outstanding receivers, ASU is going to put a hurtin on a couple teams in this shortened season. I doubt that the PAC committee, that wants to protect Oregon and USC, will put ASU in a position to knock BOTH teams out of contention before the PAC Championship game. I am guessing that Oregon draws UCLA or Colorado. UCLA is still a work in progress and would offer a big media market. Colorado would be a highly probable win.
I still think ASU ends up beating USC in South play and Oregon in the Championship game. Then Larry Scott will claim that was his plan from the beginning.
