Woody Green and Benny Malone both rushed for over 1,100 yards and Morris Owens had over 1,000 receiving yards. Throw in Greg Hudson's 54 receptions for about 800 yards and you end up with one of my favorite teams. 11-1 for the season capped off by a great Fiesta Bowl win over Pitt.

The team also featured one of my All-Time unsung heroes, Sal Olivo. Sal was a 5-9, 200 lbs bulldog that played DT for Kush. (His big brother, Ted, towered over him at 5-10 210 lbs and was an ALL WAC DL in the late 60s.) Two tough kids from Nutley, NJ.
