Redmond is one of my all time favorites. Every time he touched the ball, I expected something great to happen. In that miracle 1996 season, Snyder called that improbable throwback pass to Plummer to win the UCLA game. It always amazed me that he trusted a true freshman RB to throw the cross-field pass with a perfect season on the line.
I completely underestimated Eno because he didn’t have exceptional top end speed. But he has a good burst and his balance and footwork are superb. He can take a hit and maintain his shoulders/center of gravity over his feet and come through a line gap accelerating.
During this weird shortened season, I am starting to develop the same feelings about Trayanum that I had about JR. Chip may be our next great back. Every one of his carries seem special.
