My Dad’s birthday was on Dec 31. In 1986 for his birthday, I packaged up my 1987 Rose Bowl tickets and hotel reservations and sent him and Mom to what they always referred to as the best week of their lives.

If I would have known that I would have to wait a decade to see the next ASU Rose Bowl team, Mom and Dad would have gotten tickets to Disneyland instead.
