Klayton Adams has a unique blend of college football and NFL coaching experience to go along with a tremendous personality," Coach Edwards mentioned. "His skill set fits perfectly within our Pro Model.

Did Herm paint himself into a corner? I wonder what Edwards will say about his Pro Model if Mike Cavanaugh is indeed the new hire.
I thought Scott Peters would have been an interesting hire - but a longshot. Peters had a 7 year NFL career and is Assistant Line Coach under legendary line coach Bill Callahan in Cleveland. Callahan is known as the NFL's best teacher of footwork and balance. He hired Peters because Peters went into martial arts training after his pro football career and brings new hand combat techniques to the line play. Peters is well connected to HS football as well. His Tip of the Spear consulting teaches safe football technique to both college and HS programs. University of Washington, hired him in 2012 and 2013 to help train the Huskies in Safe Football techniques. In his time there, the team suffered zero concussions and stingers. Peters has since brought his Tip of the Spear training to more than 450 high school and youth football programs in order to prevent concussions and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). High energy guy in his 40s. This could be a recruiting advantage.
