You always seem to disagree with me. :-)
The PAC may not have an elite team, but it does have good parity so a player or two missing a game can change the outcome. ASU has had too many frontline players missing too many games. The herky-jerky nature of the schedule has also killed team momentum.
Other than your personal comment about Hurley thinking that he would be gone - do you have evidence? Even if he did think about leaving, it would seem that he would still hit recruiting hard to develop relationships with kids that he would want to take to his new gig.
Christopher and Bagley has missed a lot of time this year and probably have not put together enough of an NBA resume to jump after this year. Same with Cherry.
I do not know what the team will look like next year. The consensus is that it will need front court help. I am just saying that I can appreciate how THIS team is hustling and playing their butts off with 3 potential starters sitting on the bench. Especially when these 3 are 6-5, 6-8 and 6-8. That leave too many 6-1 players to compete with much taller teams such as USC. Still these Sun Devils never give up.
You want to complain? Be my guest.
