I hope so, but the table at the bottom of the story shows ASU behind Oregon (14), USC (13), and Washington (13) and in a tie with UCLA. That may imply that ASU has good talent, that it is making headway on conference leaders, but there seems to be good talent parity among the middle 8 teams in the PAC.
Compare the 2021 recruiting classes with Oregon leading the PAC with 19 4-star recruits and USC with 15 4/5-star players. ASU was rated 8th in the conference. BUT, I think that ASU may have one of the best staffs in the PAC and this will immediately lead to maximizing the potential of the entire squad. Additionally, this is a young dynamic staff that will soon have the Sun Devils competing for best PAC recruiting class honors. But as cudevil points out, Anderson must ante up the money to keep it together.
