This logic doesn’t track with recruiting success

I would take 110 with 10% humidity, over any place in the south during the summer with 90° and 80% humidity.

Heat has no factor in recruiting. Top prospects want to go to programs with coaches they connect with, and with winning programs. Period.

Alabama, LSU, the Florida schools, Texas can be sticky and hot, and even Iowa/Iowa State are not beacons for comfortable weather in the summer.

We finally have some coaches with some consistency, credibility, and a reputation that kids want to be here.

I truly don’t believe our weather is a factor in recruiting. And for some, it is a plus.

When I was going to ASU, it would blow my mind seeing the kids from New Jersey and Chicago laying out at the apartment pools, in 110 degrees, as I was heading off to my job. They freaking loved the heat!
