The snaps become muscle memory. Once he repeats it a couple hundred times, I have confidence that it will no longer be an issue.
The reads and the footwork are normally the issues. Unlike playing a Left or Right line position, Center requires mastering footwork in both directions as well as accelerating to the next level when left uncovered. Reading opponent's stunts and blitzes is another challenge. What you see in the film room looks different when you are at field level. I hope he is up to the challenge.
From Edwards' recent comments, it sounds like he would like to get Ezra Dotson-Oyetade at center as soon as possible. Great recruit, but he still needs work and the roster now lists him at only 270 lbs. Ten pounds lighter and he can switch to LB. The moves you listed may come to fruition. I hope not. Scott seems to have found a home at RT. Henderson is more comfortable on the left side. This is not the season to be shuffling linemen and going into the season under on-the-job training. Maybe Cavanaugh sticks with West and Bell until EDO is ready. Bell is tough kid out of a good Norco program.
