Decades long season ticket holder - and have paid in full for the 2021 season tickets, yet have received no notice, etc.
I have "contacted" the ASU ticketing office, via the "account manager" portal, and will await a reply.
Not only has there apparently been no planning, much less thought, in the roll out of the "tickets", but the implementation has been inept. Some of us have them, and some of us don't. Stay tuned, I guess.
Big Ron and others are correct. This could have been an opportunity to raise awareness and excitement with a ticket issue countdown, etc., and PR moment.
As others have posted before - presumably, the W.P. Carey School has marketing classes and majors. "How to develop and sustain a customer/consumer base" would seem to be a possible program/class/major/competition whatever, that the brain trust could direct to assist the Athletic Dept.
The tickets - physical, in the past - have always showed up with no prior announcement. If I still don't have them a couple of days prior to the first game, I am sure I will get the problem worked out. (Maybe ASU should simply outsource the ticket sales and distribution to Amazon.)
The idea that the administration of this simple product distribution effort is so poorly handled, without trying to leverage it as an opportunity for better engagement, is something I have come to expect.
I don't normally care enough to complain, but given the other comments, I wanted to weigh in. Does RA know or care? I am assuming "no", yet this should be as important a matter as anything in the AD office.
