I had a variety of experiences w/ pandemic tickets for the 20-21 year, all good and all covered my costs.
To start, I had tickets for several baseball games right when the chaos hit and was given the option of credits to my account or a refund. I chose the credits. Spent the credits on baseball tickets for this year.
For football '20 season tickets, I had a seatmate who chose to get a full cash refund whereas I wanted to roll my $$ forward to this year. Ticketing accommodated both options (they credited my charge card for the refund).
My basketball season $$ was also rolled forward.
SDC donation points were doubled for the season ticket $$ rolled forward. There was a third option to donate the full season $$ to the SDC for a more generous points return (triple, I think), but I declined.
All the money on account was applied to this year's season renewals w/o any bother.
So, my experience has been good and they've been very flexible. I can't imagine that they'd not follow a similar plan if games are canceled this year as they have the experience of it working out.
