Like I mentioned, these were strictly immediate impressions. But Whittingham and Utah have earned a lot of credibility in developing good tough lines. I have no doubt that these players will follow the same Utah tradition, but just a little taller and a little bigger.
I haven't been able to post much the last few years because Photobucket and Flickr changed to subscription and I pissed them off by stealing posting code from their sites. I especially like line play. Technique and schemes are so important. Its like watching a chess match between very large cerebral men. I dug up a couple oldies but goodies. I hope the Photobucket watchdogs took the day off.
ESPN is my favorite game day filming because you can see the same play from Skycam and TV coverage and then sync the action. Here is Trelon Smith run. You can see the running lane open and see what Smith sees in these sync'd photos.
Here is an Arizona TD when ASU was caught in the wrong defensive set. Note that line blocking was a 4-on-3 Wildcat overload and ASU had no safeties to cover the field.
