I just learned that this ASU legend has Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
I had him my business law class and he was one solid person. He was an honor student in HS at Yuma and at ASU.
I am sure many on this board were at the stadium when he was elected Home Coming king. He escorted the Home Coming Queen in his uniform at half time. The stadium went nuts.
I had the occasion to talk with him for about 10 minutes a few years ago. He was gracious and unassuming.
This is a sad news for the Sun Devil Nation and for me.
