I know I drive people crazy with my fixation on the BIGS and the how critical technique is to their success. Davidson is one of my unsung heroes. He is a perfect example of a naturally big kid that embraced the work needed to build strength and the dedication necessary to hone technique. This big NT studies film, come prepared and eats a lot of interior blockers. Davidson makes the 4 man line work.
Also, if you have a chance to slo-mo recorded games, watch the left side of the O-line. Diesch, Henderson and West are not only excellent straight up blockers, but they work well as a coordinated team. See how they can apply setup blocks for one another, then release to get on a blitzser or seal a LB at the next level. It’s choreography by 310 lbs ballerinas.
