The usual receivers
Bunkley- Shelton 4.66 40 sec 40 time.
Johnny Wilson 4.59
Elijhah Badger 4.68
Curtis Hodges 4.9
The recruiting descriptions on the Sun Imps included nimble, shifty, good route runners. But P5 LBs have closing speed on most of the usual starters. Senior TE Hodges was a work in progress after making a switch to TE. He has learned how to catch and may have a future in the NFL. Wilson has seldom seen the field and has become a non-factor. Pearsall has used his speed to become a reliable position receiver. But where is the speed burner to stretch the defense? Chad Johnson Jr is a Lost Boy and a transfer portal candidate. Porter has very good speed. But after 1 catch for 47 yards, he gave up hope of seeing the field and entered the transfer portal.
We have ended up with an offense coached by substitute teachers. This has resulted in a lack of precision that exacerbates the lack of speed. JD5 has nobody open and has regressed into his high school days of looking to save plays with his legs. He has no Bercovici to coach him. Hill is helping Wade with the WRs. Daniels now looks like a thin Khalil Tate.
On the other hand, what do I know? Get off my lawn.
