It would be hard to imagine any of the first four games justifying a change to an earlier time other than Oregon St. (assuming we were both ranked and one of the better Pac-10 matchups that day). Again, assuming both teams were ranked, the Oct. 27 matchup against Cal would justify an earlier time for sure.
The other great thing about the switch is having that week off between the two away games and the USC game. After the tough home game with Cal and two tough road games, having 11 days to heal before SC and the Rats is a welcome addition.
