Kind of playing devil's advocate, but think about this. Minus Oregon State (who DK had on the road and might have been a better team than 07 Beavs), Dirk's Devils beat the same teams DE's Devils have beaten so far this year. They even took out Washington and Colorado on the road. It's not unreasonable to think that he could have produced a 7-0 with this schedule.
Now don't get all crazy and jump all over me. I'm not "living in the past" or hating on DE. Just a little reality check as we prepare to start facing the big boys in a couple of weeks!
I love what DE is doing and I think there have been many improvements - defense, run game, special teams, attitude in general. I'm expecting the Devils to be competitive and fired up in the coming weeks. I think we're all tired of getting embarrassed against those schools!
