(philly) It's so freaking annoying when relatives get married during football season. October weddings are especially brutal, because of baseball playoffs. Frankly, no man should ever agree to a wedding from September 1 through the end of the NCAA hoops tourney. That still leaves April through August -- it can't be that difficult to find a date in one of those months.
From the groom's standpoint, it's particularly stupid to get married during football season, because then you have your anniversary messing things up every year for the rest of your life.
