I got into a pretty heated argument last night with my roomate about the ASU vs UA rivalry. They said that because there is such a melting pot of students from around the country that the majority of them don't care about the rivalry. I know I am writing to die hard fans, like myself, here, but I wanted your guys' take on the rivalry and compare it from where it is now to years past? I came to ASU in 2000 so can only speak of it from then on and I am from California I have soaked up the rivalry and the best days I had at ASU involves beating AU in various sports. Do you think the rivalry has died down or has it risen in recent years?
