My friend rags me to this day about dropping my head and giving up, after Tex Wright's fumble. 52 seconds remaining, and Hons brought us back. Tex gets his TD and genuflects in the endzone.
I can also recall on a particular play - Elway pulling away from center with the MLB right in his face and on a dead back paddle, he heaves a desparation toward the far sideline that I swore was just a throw away. Well after the ball is thrown, the receiver turns and looks on a deep out - and the ball is right there just before the sideline. Haven't seen anything quite like it since!
