The super regional games were a lot of fun to attend. On Saturday, after all my comments about my daughter being so 'loud', she basically was quiet. I'm assuming it was because we were sitting with her teammate and the teammate's parents. That seems to have flipped the 'quiet' bit. The teammate's parents had never been to an ASU game, but left with a very positive impression.
Sunday, I had my 'loud' daughter back. Well, at least until the bottom of the third, when we went to get snacks. By the fifth inning she'd finished eating and was back at full volume.
The seventh inning today was just magical. The two run blast made the crowd erupt and fed the crowd energy for the bottom of the seventh as Dallas shut the door. Definitely a fun day.
If what I believe I'd seen about ASU adding shade to 70% of the seating by adding solar panels is true, it will make the softball stadium a truly excellent game day experience.
