good points.

this team just has not been able to shoot 3's. If you don't have an inside game (e.g., 'Melo) and you can't shoot from outside, I am not sure how you can win.

When we played Holder, Evans and Justice for stretches - the 3 amigos - they were each capable of hitting from outside. They also moved the ball well.

Last year, Martin, Edwards and Verge could almost replicate the performance of the 3 amigos, and of course Verge could slash and create shots.

Bagley and Christopher are each as good as advertised, yet they are freshman. The "system" run by ASU is not working. If we can't get Graham and/or Osten to have 2 touches per possession - an inside/out system - the perimeter weave, as you describe (correctly) is silly, and not productive.

Graham shows flashes - maybe 2 per game - of actual, big man skills. He remains a project, but he has the athleticism. Not having Cherry has been a much bigger factor than some would think. TC has shown tenacity at both ends, and he contributes at both ends.

Others have commented that we need a specific "big man" coach. I agree - someone who can recruit, develop, and promote talented bigs. of course, this only works if the offense involves the bigs.

BTW - White is averaging 10.4 points and 5.4 rebounds.
