: Where the hell have you been the last four years?

My theory -

First, KL seemed to have spent a lot of time in sick bay early in his ASU career. When he did play, Hurley’s offense dictated that White was the paint guy so Lawrence had to be the wing guy popping 3 pointers from the corner. But he had to wait in line behind 3 shooting guards. Without a much of a defined role, he became a ghost on the court. Then he became a ghost.

But this year, Hurley doesn’t have a reliable paint guy. Graham must lead the NCAA in fouls per minutes played. Within 7 minutes he is on the bench, done for the game. The other 2 *tall guys* do the best they can, but that is not enough. So Hurley has had to change his offense a bit. Lawrence is now getting quality minutes as a traditional forward. He complements the center play. No more hanging out at the 3 point line. He plays near the basket getting rebounds and taking inside passes for layups and dunks. All of a sudden, he looks and plays like he is a 6-9 forward.
