Sounds like a plausible explanation.
But you can have more than one paint guy at a time. (I know just looking at ASU over the past 30 years someone probably wouldn't realize that). So if we had two good paint guys, and didn't use them effectively, I think that is a ding against Hurley and his myopic affinity to Guard U. Might explain why our inability to land bugs continues its long tradition. MAN OH MAN!! I remember ASU was supposedly in the mix for Kofi Cockburn coming out of HS. Can you imagine him on this team? But again, just another whiff in a long string of whiffs on quality bigs.
