:: He was a good NBA player but never became even a good low major coach. Owner of GCU told him he had to win low major WAC or he was gone. His team was worse than prior seasons and not only got blown out by NMSU but got beat by other teams in conference. Owner wants to move to WCC but won't get invitation unless they can win at a higher level. Menzies was hired as assocate head coach and paid more than $100,000 than he was paid at UNLV, to likely be head coach in waiting. Majerle should have started out as an assistant and learned how to be a coach. Hope he does that so he can work his way up to a head coach.
